They may not have achieved the fame, infamy, glory or immortality of Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie, Threepio, Artoo or Darth, but these are the common citizens of the Star Wars universe. They lived at the same time as our favorite characters, and may even have crossed paths with them, but for whatever reason have been largely lost to history.
